Chiquita Bananas Are The Bomb! No Seriously! Chiquita Brands Plea Deal In Terror Group Charges.

Chiquita Brands International Inc. (NYSE:CQB) will plead guilty to doing business with terrorist organizations in Colombia, where it formerly grew bananas, and pay $25 million to settle the charges.

Federal prosecutors, in charges filed as part of the plea arrangement, said that high-ranking corporate officials approved payments to the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia, and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia.
